These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made through the website operated by Tamsin Hyde, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

All artworks sold on this website are original works created by Tamsin Hyde.

2. Products

  • Each artwork is unique and may include natural variations in colour, texture, and finish.

  • Product descriptions and images aim to be accurate, but colours may vary depending on screen settings.

  • Sizes are approximate but will not differ in any way that affects the artwork’s value or function.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices may be converted at checkout for customers in Europe.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.

·       MasterCard (credit and debit cards)

·       American Express

·       Apple Pay

·       Payments are taken through Stripe; I do not store any of your debit/credit card details. 

·       If you would like to pay via bank transfer this can be arranged; please contact tamsin-hyde-art@outlook.com.

  • Any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees outside the UK are the buyer’s responsibility.

4. Ordering Process

  • Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation.

  • The contract is formed when you receive a dispatch confirmation.

  • If an artwork becomes unavailable after ordering (e.g., simultaneous sale), you will receive a full refund.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Artworks are shipped from the UK and usually shipped within 7 days of sale.

  • Delivery times vary by destination:

    • UK: typically 7 working days

    • Europe: typically 10 working days

  • Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Risk passes to you upon delivery, but ownership transfers only once payment is received in full.

  • If a parcel arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours with photos so I can help resolve it.

6. Returns & Cancellations

UK & EU Customers

Your rights follow the Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK) and EU Consumer Rights Directive:

  • You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the artwork.

  • You must return the artwork within 14 days of notifying me of your wish to cancel.

  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned artwork.

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or misdescribed.

  • Artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

Exceptions

  • Custom or commissioned artworks are non‑refundable, unless faulty.

7. Faulty or Damaged Items

If an artwork arrives damaged or faulty:

  • Please contact me via my contact form within 48 hours of delivery. I will then ask you to send photos of the damage.

  • You may receive a repair, replacement (if possible), or refund depending on the situation. These rights apply to all customers in the UK and EU.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All artworks, images, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Tamsin Hyde.

  • You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially use any artwork or content without written permission.

  • Purchasing an artwork does not grant reproduction rights.

9. Website Use

  • You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its security or functionality.

  • I reserve the right to update or modify the website at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for:

    • indirect or consequential losses

    • delays caused by postal services or customs

    • losses arising from misuse of the artwork

12. Governing Law

  • For UK and EU customers, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms occasionally. The version published at the time of your order applies to your purchase.
